What IS ONE World-ONE Heart?

It is a blog-wide giveaway event. The original idea behind this was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way. Last years event had nearly 100 participants and many connections were made because of it......friendships that are still going strong.

My package from Cathy at Country Chintz arrived today. I heard my big dogs barking as the UPS man drove up. I looked outside and saw the poor man peeking out his door. I was so afraid he wouldn't dare come to my door that I sprung out unto the front porch as quickly as I could, (barefoot and all...this is NOT the tropics). This swap was coordinated by Dolly of My Cherry Heart. Although every item did not have a heart on it, Cathy said it was all for my vintage heart! *sigh* I adore everything! It was all packaged beautifully in this sweet little suitcase container.


The little burgandy box is a perfect match for my burgandy chair. It is a little hard to see against it. Enlarge the picture and look at the paper weight. It is fantastic! A real vintage Valentine with sentiments: To Helen S, from Donald.


This shadow box was made by Cathy. It's perfect for my sitting room. I can keep this little beauty up all year!


Although you can't really tell, the glass heart is a vintage box. Isn't it sweet? The perfect item to finish up a Valentine swap has to be a Valentine hanky. Love it all! Thank you so much Cathy!
