i participated in Dolly's My Vintage Heart Swap. My partner is Kathy from Country Chintz. We were to send a containter filled with "heart" items. This is what I sent her.
I embellished the heart box with German scrap trims and millinery flowers. The "key to my heart" was also made by me and is embellished with a vintage key and vintage wallpaper.

Your pics are much better than mine - I am working on my skills -- and trying to get them on my spot -- The boxes you made are so gorgeous, and you didn't know I have a thing for boxes so 2 lovelies sent me over the edge --was at an all day scrap for Juvenile diabetes today , but wanted to let you know what a great surprise awaited me . also chocolates are my fave -- and the cuppycake stuff is so cute -- maybe i will try to use one to do the Teresa Mc Fayden -- winterzine art -- with one of those papers -- You do a picture of a cute cupcake -- and the words YOu are what you eat - so eat something cute ! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and putting your name in the hat for the Mardi Gras beads. The south goes crazy during this time of year. With parades, balls, luncheons and they all lead up to Fat Tuesday. This is the beginning of lent and when you eat a King Cake there is a baby baked into the cake and that represents the baby Jesus. The whole Mardi Gras is steeped in tradition and it really is a sight to behold. I just went to a Mardi Gras ball last night and all I can say is the gowns and procession was over the top.
