sheet music tied up with ribbons

silverware
crepe paper bird nests
cake decorating supplies
I'd love to hear your ideas!

Thanks for all the good ideas Ele! I especially like the little tea set in the jar. What about a jar layered with pretty hankies?
Karen
Ok, to add to the list of what to put in the jars, let's see, faux petit fours, mini tiaras?
Lovely ideas and great bargain on the jars!
I don't think I have anything better than your wonder ideas =) We have some at the store with little tulle sachets with lavender in them but that's kinda generic. I love the silver candleholders you put in! Blessings.. .Polly
Oh what a fabulous collection of treasures in your glass jars
Alison
Pretty hankies, sachets, mini tiaras and faux petit fours are grand ideas! Can't you just visualize faux frosted goodies layered in a jar! Lets hear some more ideas bloggers!
Blingy broken jewelry pieces, bits of vintage trims, random millinery flowers, a foofy boa or loose feathers, dried Valentine rose blossoms, limes and mini eggplants, glass glittered stars and spheres, little slips of paper imprinted with wishes and dreams, old rusty skeleton keys and homeless chandelier crystals....that's all I have for now! =0] xoxo
Oh wait....sparkly fleur de lis and gold or silver Eiffel tower ornaments, vintage Christmas ornaments, vintage chenille stems, old family photos....
I am always looking for glass jars at second hand stores. I store scrabble tiles, chandelier crystals, old buttons, old wooden thread spools, and ribbons. :) Love your jars! Scroll down a few entries on my blog and you can see a pic of some of my jars. :)
wowow!!!!! what a gorgoeus collection of jars. LOVE the hankie jar! I am going to "borrow" that idea. LOVE It!!!! xoxo Heather
The last time you showed jars on your blog you had me running to Hobby Lobby to look at them- and now you're tempting me again! My plan is to put fabric yo yos in them, and millinary flowers- but I also like the idea of prisms and pearls.
What a deal! Sue was just looking for some more of those the other day. We like to put ribbons in them too. :)
Have a good weekend,
Sarah
Lovely. I think I will get some for my old seed packets. I love the yo-yo's to.
oooh I love your jars! I'm always looking for those too, as you can use them for decoration and storage for almost everything. I have jars with wooden spools and ribbons (already mentioned), vintage Christmas decorations, feathers, pebbles especially those with mother of pearl outside, vintage buttons sorted by color and fake diamonds, but real ones will look ok too I guess.
I like your ideas as shown, thanks for inspiration!
Thank you for ideas for a bunch of glass jars I rescued from the trash!!
Denise

I just love this...you have been reading my mind...right now my large ones have robins eggs, and nests in them...but if you look at my latest blog entry...I just found a HUGE conglomoration of differing sized jars that I am using for my craft room organizational project...I plan on putting ribbon roses, shells, wooden pieces, beads, buttons, and more in them...alas when I get my craft room done. But GREAT ideas!

Ele! I love your blog. Absolutlely beautiful and inspiring. For some reason when I put things in those pretty jars it never seems to turn out as lovely as when you awesome decorators do it. The other day I decided to put some vintage anagrams in my pretty jar and never did it because I figured it would fall flat. I think I'll give it a try now:)
