Oh Baby, Don't You Just Love Vintage Decor?

It's a lucky little sweetheart that will get to call this nursery theirs! Don't you love the sweet colors? Gaze at the faux window on the wall, complete with flowing curtains. Love this room! It's from http://www.static.howstuffworks.com

Some of you KNOW me by now and that I love to mix and match dark and light colors and different textures. This black iron chandelier adds a dramatic focal point to this room. Did you know that you can put a chandelier in ANY room of the house? This means bathrooms and kitchens, people, and don't forget the baby's room! Picture from www.thatsmyroom.com

A little punch of black added to this room from www.courant.com gives it a well tailored look. Check out the monogram pillow on the bed!

The great thing about vintage is that any color works; pastels or brights. Notice the green shelf on the wall in this red room is the same color as the table and chairs in the first pastel room! Raggedy Ann.....such a great classic. The above room is from www.baby-nursery-decorating-ideas-29 My friend Michelle at Hippie Dog Primitives makes fabulous Annie Dolls with a fun twist. You must visit her website!

This sweet room from www.cicicrib.com just makes you want to say, "aaaahhhhh".

I offer monogrammed dresses at Hannah Banana Baby with a vintage feel. My personal favorite is this sweet cupcake dress.

The birthday collection can be monogrammed with the child's name or initials. I also offer cupcakes with the number embroidered or a single candle for a first birthday! You can also select the thread color

Sweet little smocked bear booties are from A Bit of Heaven Creations by Eleanor Erickson. Perfect for the vintage look!
Have a great day~!

  1. Hi Ele, I gave my 3 yr. old grand-daughter a crystal chandelier for Christmas...lol. And when I went to visit for her birthday in June we did her room up in pink and green and hung the chandelier in the corner. It's the sweetest room ever.

Oh, yes....just last night, out of the blue, Hubby says "I've been thinking of putting a chandlier in the bedroom. Would that be alright with you?" It was all I could do to keep a straight faces as I replied "I dunno Chris...a chandelier? Weeeeell....I GUUUESSS that'd be okay!" LMBO ;o]

  19. Hi, Ele!

This is my first time here and I agree with my new friend Amy- I want that first room for myself! Ha! I'd have to keep my men out of it, though. They're the rough and rugged kind. :>

Well, when your profile came up and saw your pic, I thought, "Wow, what a beautiful lady!" I'm usually too shy to pass on a compliment such as that but- there- I said it! Have a great day!

  20. Good morning! I love that first room. Years ago, my business was a 3 woman sewing team - making vintage style baby items. Oh the stores that I'd get to see!! That's was the start of it all for me. =) Blessings... Polly (p.s. If you haven't bought it, don't get my book yet - I'm working on getting it cheaper through a different manufacturer. It'll probably be a week or so before I'll know anything for sure but check back)

  32. Elle, thanks for stopping by. The nose is starting to feel better, but the area above my lip isn't.
I love the 1st room---oh to have more grandchildren. The little cupcake dress is adorable. As someone said Little girls need to remain little girls. I just don't like the clothes in some stores that make little girls look like they are 21. Hugs, Pat
