I have been filling nail holes, and painting the room a cottage white..
men+nail guns=a trillion gazillion nail holes.
I added amber glass knobs to a stained table.
Beadboard on the walls, a fabric basket to hold stray shoes, luscious pear candles, an art glass bowl for keys, and a sky blue mirror were all put in place. The mirror is a vintage find repurposed with spray paint.
This room is not finished yet. I still have more nail holes to fill!

ReplyDeleteI would love a room like this. I would probably live in it all year and never come out. I know what you mean about a zillion holes. I told hubs that if he were filling them he would use a tenth of the nails he uses.

ReplyDeleteI want - no, I NEEEEED to go sit in that room & drink tea with you, Ele! HOW GORGEOUS!!!! You are going to make me love blue yet! I already adore pink, so THAT'S a no-brainer. But you could probably make me love ANY color because you use them so artistically! And I love the 'small' touches which make BIG elegant statements. The knobs, for example, are PERFECTION! Sigh ... I'm relaxed just having LOOKED at that sun room in progress. WHAT nail holes? LOL!
